1987 FIREBIRD MODELS WITH LG4 5.0L ENGINE AND AIR CONDITIONING
The above vehicles may have the upper radiator hose in hard contact with the screw head of the inboard brace of the A/C compressor bracket, as shown
in the Illustration.
To repair this condition loosen the hose clamp at the thermostat housing of the engine and rotate the hose to the right approximately 5 to 10 degrees, as
shown in Illustration.. This rotation of the hose will give clearance between the hose and the screw head with the hose resting on top of the A/C
compressor bracket. Retighten the hose clamp.
