Condition
Some owners may comment that the power door locks/power windows are inoperative.
Cause
The plastic used in the rocker knob portion of the original power door lock/power window switches may be attacked by the grease in the switch, causing
the mounting tabs to break. A new material was used in production starting in January, 1997.
Correction
Replace the switches with the new part numbers listed below. Follow the instructions in Section 10-6 of the Service Manual. Any of the old switches in
dealer stock should not be used and should be returned to GMSPO for credit.

Important:
New switches for the 1993 Chevrolet have not yet been released. This bulletin will be updated when they are available.
