AMPLIFIER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the quarter inner rear trim finish panel.
2. Remove the amplifier bolts.
3. Squeeze the pin ends together.
4. Push the retaining pin through the hole in the quarter inner rear panel.
5. Lift the amplifier up in order to disengage the clip from the wheelhouse flange.
6. Disconnect the amplifier electrical connector.
7. Remove the amplifier from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the amplifier to the vehicle.
2. Connect the amplifier electrical connector.
3. Align the pin on the amplifier to the hole in the quarter inner rear panel.
4. Snap the pin into the hole.
5. Place clip over rear wheelhouse flange.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

6. Install the amplifier bolts.
