Rear Door Weatherstrip: Service and Repair
Weatherstrip Retainer Protector and Seal - Side
WEATHERSTRIP RETAINER PROTECTOR AND SEAL - SIDE
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Lower the folding top to a suitable working position.
2. Remove the front side door window upper rear weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Folding Top Side Front.
3. Remove the front side door window upper rear weatherstrip retainer bolts (4).
4. Remove the front side door window upper rear weatherstrip retainer (3).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the front side door window upper rear weatherstrip retainer (3).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the front side door window upper rear weatherstrip retainer bolt (4).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts (4) to 1.3 N.m (12 lb in).
3. Install the front side door window upper rear weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Folding Top Side Front.
CAUTION: Refer to battery disconnect caution in Service Precautions.
