Exhaust Pipe Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the exhaust muffler. 
2. Remove the exhaust pipe heat shield bolts.
3. Remove the exhaust pipe heat shield.

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the exhaust pipe heat shield.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the exhaust pipe heat shield bolts.

Tighten the exhaust pipe heat shield bolts to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.). 

3. Install the exhaust muffler.
