1. Remove the generator rear mounting bolt (to generator) (1).
2. Remove the generator rear mounting bolt (to engine) (2).
3. Remove the generator rear bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the generator rear bracket.
2. Install the generator rear mounting bolt (to generator) (1) until snug.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the generator rear mounting bolt (to engine) (2) until snug.

Tighten

Tighten the generator rear mounting bolt (to generator) (1) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Tighten the generator rear mounting bolt (to engine) (2) to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
