Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Power Steering Pump Rear Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.
2. Remove the power steering pump rear bracket bolts (3).
3. Remove the power steering pump rear bracket (2) from the engine (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the power steering pump rear bracket (2) to the engine (1).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the power steering pump rear bracket bolts (3).

Tighten the bolts (3) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.
4. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System.
