Extension Housing Rear Oil Seal

J21426 Extension Housing Seal Installer

Removal Procedure 

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the propeller shaft. 

3. Remove the case extension oil seal. Use a flat bladed tool to pry the seal from the housing.

Installation Procedure 

1. Use the J21426 and a soft face hammer, install the case extension oil seal.
2. Install the propeller shaft. 
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Check the transmission fluid level.
