1. Inspect the upper rear corner of the door glass and ensure that the door glass run channel is correctly seated in the door frame.
If the run channel is not correctly positioned, reposition as necessary.
2. If the run channel is correctly seated to the door frame and the noise still exists, the foam seal attached to the run channel in the inner upper rear
corner may be missing or out of position.
3. To inspect for this foam seal, lower the run channel and verify that the seal is in position as shown. If the seal is out of position, reposition the seal
and reinstall the run channel.
4. If the run channel foam seal is missing, install a piece of Kent Industries P/N P40100 (15 mm x 3 mm (5/8 in x 1/8 in)) Adhesive Backed Shim
Stock*. Trim to fit as shown. Reinstall the run channel.
Rear Door Side Glass Wind Noise
Use the following steps to correct rear door side glass wind noise concerns.
1. Inspect the upper front corner of the rear door glass and ensure that the door glass run channel is correctly seated in the door frame.
If the run channel is not correctly positioned, reposition as necessary.
2. If the run channel is correctly seated to the door frame and the noise still exists, the foam seal attached to the run channel in the inner upper front
corner may be missing or out of position.
