23. Apply sealant compound to thread and install the timing chain guide bolt access hole plug. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for
the correct part number.
Tighten
Tighten the chain guide plug to 90 Nm (59 lb ft).
24. Install the timing chain upper guide.
Tighten
Tighten the timing chain upper guide bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
25. Inspect the timing chain tensioner. If the timing chain tensioner, O-ring seal, or washer is damaged, replace the timing chain tensioner.
26. Measure the timing chain tensioner assembly from end to end.
