Sunroof Wind Noise
Use the following steps to identify and repair sunroof wind noise concerns.
If the sunroof glass is not flush to specification with the outer roof panel, wind noise may occur. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit
Adjustment (Sedan) in SI.
On some vehicles, the adjusting screw/washer assembly that mounts the glass to the sunroof frame may become concave. This concave condition may
cause the fastener to have insufficient grip. This will cause the sunroof glass to move on the mountings and allow the glass to go out of adjustment.
1. If the adjusting screw/washer assembly shows this concave condition, replace the fasteners at all four corners of the sunroof glass with a revised
screw/washer assembly, GM P/N 11610784.
2. Adjust the sunroof glass. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment (Sedan) in SI.
