G6 L4-2.4L (2007)
1. Position the sunshade motor to the sunroof module to the roof.
2. Push the sunroof motor straight upward to engage the drive gear between the cables.
3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.
Install the sunroof motor screws.
Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
4. Connect the electrical connector to the sunshade motor right rear.
5. Raise and install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
6. Initialize/teach the sunroof motor. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information. See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning
7. Inspect the sunshade for proper operation.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. IMPORTANT: The sunroof actuator drive shaft turns in both directions and contains no limit switches. You may replace the sunroof
motor/actuator with the window panel in any position.
