12. Ensure that the yellow identification band on the tube is hidden within the quick connect fitting.
13. A hidden yellow identification band indicates proper joint seating.
14. Fill the transmission to the proper level with DEXRON(R) VI transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Checking.

Removal Procedure
Notice: Allow sufficient clearance around the transaxle oil cooler pipes and around the hoses to prevent damage or wear which may cause fluid
loss.
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Position a drain pan under the vehicle.
3. Remove the oil cooler hoses from the transaxle oil cooler fittings. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting
Replacement.
4. Remove the oil cooler fittings (28, 29) from the transaxle.
