Parts Information
Parts required to complete this program are to be obtained from General Motors Service and Parts Operations (GMSPO). Please refer to your "involved
vehicles listing" before ordering parts. Normal orders should be placed on a DRO = Daily Replenishment Order. In an emergency situation, parts should
be ordered on a CSO = Customer Special Order.
Service Procedure
Remove sunshades from vehicle. Refer to Sunshade Replacement Convertible in SI.
Remove the sunshade retainer bezel. Refer to Sunshade Retainer Bezel Replacement Convertible in SI.
Remove the rubber weatherstrip around the sunroof opening.
Remove the windshield pillar garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in SI.
Remove the left and right seat belt pivot bolt and trim.
Remove the coat hooks.
Remove the center pillar upper garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement in SI.
Partially remove both of the primary door seals.
When lowering the headliner, be careful not to bend or damage the headliner.
Remove the three headliner fasteners partially lower the headliner and inspect the rear sunroof drains for proper routing.
