4. Remove and discard both the intake and exhaust camshaft sprocket bolts.
5. Slide the camshaft sprockets forward.
6. Important: Remove each bolt on each cap one turn at a time until there is no spring tension pushing on the camshaft.
Mark the bearing caps to ensure they are installed in the original position.
7. Remove the bearing cap bolts.
8. Remove the bearing caps.
9. Remove the intake camshaft (1).
