3. Seal off both wires (1) using splice sleeves. On the open end of the splice sleeve, crimp the barrel and seal both ends by following the heating

procedures. Refer to Splicing Copper Wire Using Splice Sleeves in SI.

4. Cut the remaining wires on the seat harness as close to the back of the connector as possible. The extra length of wire will be required to

accommodate the new seat wiring harness routing.

5. Assemble the pigtail kit by first attaching the clip (1).

6. Temporarily insert the pigtail connector/clip into the seat frame (1). Do not insert completely.
