Supercede:
This bulletin is being revised to add Parts Information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 06-07-30-003 (Section 07 - Transmission/Transaxle).
Important:
The current SPO Catalog may show the incorrect change of production date. The correct transaxle assembly build break point for these changes is
December 13, 2005 (Julian Date 347).
On December 13, 2005 (Julian Date 347), the 2006 4T45-E automatic transaxles were built with new/second design controls system hardware.
The new Channel Plate Assembly, Valve Body Assembly and Spacer Plate Assembly include revised fluid routing.
Note:
The first and second design Channel Plate Assembly, Valve Body Assembly and Spacer Plate Assembly are NOT interchangeable. Mismatching of
first and second design Channel Plate Assembly, Valve Body Assembly and Spacer Plate Assembly will result in damage to the transaxle.
The transmission will not function properly if the wrong combination of Channel Plates, Valve Body Assemblies, and Spacer Plate Assemblies are
installed. Refer to your Parts Catalog for serviceable components and proper model usage.
