1. Install the garnish trim into the vehicle.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the garnish trim fastener.

Tighten the fastener to 3 Nm (26 lb in).

3. Install the trim fastener cover.
4. Install the lower lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Convertible)   (See: )Body Lock Pillar Lower

5. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling   (See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s) Arming and

Disarming/Service and Repair).
