Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

3. Install the 4 park brake lever assembly retaining nuts.

Tighten the front 2 nuts to 27 Nm (20 lb ft).

Tighten the rear 2 nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

4. Install the shift assembly. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement   (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic

Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/4T45-E - Automatic Transmission/Transmission Control Replacement).

5. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the park brake warning lamp switch.
6. Install the console support bracket. Refer to Floor Console Bracket Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Console/Service and Repair).

7. Install the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair).
8. Fully apply and release the park brake lever 3-5 times.
