Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT).
2. Remove the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair).

3. If equipped with OnStar, remove the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement   (See:

Accessories and Optional Equipment/Cellular Phone/Communications Control Module/Service and Repair/Communication Interface Module
Replacement).

4. If equipped, remove the OnStar module bracket. Refer to Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement   (See: Accessories and Optional

Equipment/Cellular Phone/Communications Control Module/Service and Repair/Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement).

5. Remove the recirculation door actuator screws.
