1. Install the BCM.
2. Install the BCM wire harness connectors.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
3. Install the BCM screws.
Tighten the screws to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).
4. Install the right console trim panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (See: Body and Frame/Interior
Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair).
5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery
Cable/Service and Repair).
6. For a new or remanufactured BCM, setup the BCM. Refer to Control Module References (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and
Relearning).
