Headlining Trim Panel Replacement
Removal Procedure
Caution: Do not attempt to repair or alter the head impact energy-absorbing material glued to the headliner or to the garnish trims. If
the material is damaged, replace the headliner and/or the garnish trim. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.
1. Disable the roof rail SIR system, if equipped. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the windshield garnish moldings.
3. Remove the sunshades.
4. Remove the sunshade supports.
6. Remove the rear corner garnish moldings.
7. Remove the rear retainers from the headliner.
8. Remove the front passenger seat.
9. Move the driver seat full forward.
10. Recline the driver seat.
11. Remove the rear seat bolster assembly.
12. Remove the rear body trim panel.
13. Remove the fastener from the body wiring junction block. Slide the junction block towards the rear of the vehicle and pull out.
