brake rotor during forward wheel rotation, or at the top of the pad when installed in vehicle position.
6. Install the brake pads (2) to the brake caliper bracket.
7. Remove the support (1) and reposition the brake caliper over the brake pads and to the mounting bracket.

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Brake Dust Caution .
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly.
Notice: Support the brake caliper with heavy mechanic wire, or equivalent, whenever it is separated from its mount and the hydraulic flexible
brake hose is still connected. Failure to support the caliper in this manner will cause the flexible brake hose to bear the weight of the caliper, which
may cause damage to the brake hose and in turn may cause a brake fluid leak.
3. Remove the brake caliper (2) from the brake caliper bracket (3) and support the brake caliper (2) with heavy mechanic's wire (1), or equivalent.
Do NOT disconnect the hydraulic brake flexible hose from the caliper.
4. Remove the brake pads (1) from the brake caliper bracket.
5. Remove the brake pad retainers (2) from the brake caliper bracket (3).
