Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 1

Removal Procedure

1.  Remove the fuel injector sight shield.
2.  Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector(s) (3) from the ignition coil(s).
3.  If removing the number 5 cylinder ignition coil, remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge tube. Refer to Evaporative Emission

Canister Purge Tube Replacement.

4.  Remove the ignition coil bolt(s).
5.  Remove the ignition coil(s).
