Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair
Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Actuator Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the automatic transaxle control assembly. Refer to Automatic Transmission Control Replacement.
2. Disconnect the Shift Lock Control Solenoid connector from the solenoid.
3. Using a flat-blade screwdriver or similar tool pry the solenoid off of the ball-sockets on the solenoid plunger and solenoid body.
