2. Lower the seat belt D-ring adjuster.
3. Remove the fastener from the D-ring.
4. Remove the D-ring.
5. Starting at the top, remove the garnish molding by pulling forward.

Installation Procedure

1. Starting at the bottom, install the garnish molding to the vehicle.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Position the seat belt D-ring and install the D-ring fastener.

Tighten the fastener to 35 Nm (25 lb ft).

3. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling   (See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s) Arming and

Disarming/Service and Repair).
