Radiator Replacement

Radiator Replacement (LZE, LZ4, LZ9) (3.5L, 3.9L)

Special Tools

J 38185   Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7, LZE, LZ4, LZ9)   (See: Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and

Filling (GE 47716 Fill)   (See: Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LE5 Static Fill)   (See: Service and Repair).

2. Loop a rope around each of the upper 2 tabs of the condenser and tie the rope around the upper tie bar.
3. Remove the upper radiator support brackets. Refer to Radiator Support Bracket Replacement   (See: ).
