1. Connect the electrical connector.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Position the sensor to the vehicle and install the sensor fasteners.
Tighten the fasteners to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
3. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Driver) (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Passenger) (See: Body and
Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair).
4. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair).
