Convertible Top Control Module: Procedures

FOLDING TOP CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Place the folding top in the up position.

CAUTION:  
-

Refer to Eye Protection Caution in Service Precautions.

Refer to Folding Top Hydraulic Pressure Caution in Service Precautions.

-

Refer to Servicing Electrical Components Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Open the rear compartment.
3. Remove the right side compartment trim. 
4. Remove the push-in-pins that attach the control module to the pump bracket.
5. Remove the electrical connectors from the pump bracket and control module Sunroof Module Assembly Replacement (CF5) Sunroof Module

Assembly Replacement (C3Y).

6. Remove the control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the control module.
