16. If previously removed, install a new cup plug. Lubricate the cup plug with transmission fluid before installation.
17. Insert the cup plug into the transmission until flush with the transmission case.
18. Remove engine and transmission lowering blocks and engine support plate.
19. Raise the powertrain back up into the engine bay and support.
20. Remove the special tool bolts and install the front sub frame bolts.
21. Tighten the front sub frame bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 160 N.m (118 lb. ft).
22. Tighten the transmission support to under body retaining bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 63 N.m (46 lb. ft).
23. Install the propeller shaft coupler (1) to the transmission flange. Refer to Propeller Shaft Replacement (See: Transmission and
Drivetrain/Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair/Propeller Shaft Replacement) .
24. Install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (LY7) (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Service and
Repair/Exhaust System Replacement)Exhaust System Replacement (L98) (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Service and
Repair/Exhaust System Alignment) .
