Subject: Squeal Noise During Window Operation (Replace Molding)

Condition
Some customers may comment about a squeal noise during window operation. This noise is more noticeable during downward travel of the window
glass.
Cause
This condition may be caused by contact between the window molding and the window glass.
Correction
Important
Replace the molding only on the door where the condition is noted.
Revised moldings are now available that will eliminate the squeal noise. Replace the molding on the affected door. Refer to Front Side Door Window
