Idler Pulley: Service and Repair
Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner
Housing/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (See: Drive Belt/Service and Repair).
3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley to alternator bracket retaining bolt (1).
4. Remove the drive belt idler pulley (2).
