Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory   (See: ).
2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle   (See: Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
3. Remove the Front Air Deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Air

Dam/Service and Repair).

4. Using a suitable tool, rotate the air conditioner (A/C) belt tensioner (2) clockwise.
5. Remove the A/C belt (1).
6. Slowly release the A/C belt tensioner (2).
7. Clean and inspect the belt surfaces of all the pulleys.

Installation Procedure
