G8 V8-6.0L (2009)
1. Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector (1).
2. Align the brake pedal position sensor (5).
Engage the brake pedal position sensor locating tab (3) to the brake pedal bracket (2).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
3. Install the brake pedal position sensor to brake pedal bracket retaining bolt (4) and tighten to 3 Nm (26 lb ft).
4. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument
Panel/Service and Repair).
5. Install the instrument panel lower left trim plate assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (See: Body and
Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair).
6. Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor (5). Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration (See: Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration).
