To Vent:
Push the front part of the switch which has the arrow pointing to the front of the car. The rear of the glass panel will move up to the vent
position. The sunshade should be moved rearward when the sunroof is vented
To Close From The Vent Position:
Push the rear part of the switch which has the arrow pointing to the rear of the car. The rear of the panel will
move down from the vent position and seal tightly. In order to open the sunroof, release the button and push
the button again.
Wind Deflector The wind deflector decreases wind noise and buffeting by channeling the air flow with a spoiler-type effect. The wind deflector will raise
automatically when the glass panel is opened and will automatically retract when the glass panel is closed.
Sunshade The sunshade allows the operator to block out the sun when the glass panel is closed. Use the handle mounted on the sunshade to move it
forward or rearward to the desired position. The sunshade, if closed, will be opened automatically when the sunroof is opened. A catch holds the
sunshade in the fully open position. The sunshade can be manually closed after the glass panel is closed.
ASC Sunroof Company Limited Warranty
What's Covered ASC Inc. warrants to the original retail customer that the ASC electric sliding sunroof will be free from defects in material and
workmanship of the sunroof components for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whicever comes first.
What's Not This warranty excludes damage from accidents, objects striking the sunroof, misuse or abuse of the sunroof, alterations to the sunroof,
airborne fallout (such as chemicals, tree sap etc.), windstorms, lightning or improper maintenance. This warranty also excludes faulty adjustments, or
repairs made to the unit after leaving the factory, by any repair facility servicing the unit.
Maintenance The sunroof should be cleaned and lubricated on a regular basis. A silicone-type spray lubricant is recommended; heavy oils and grease
may cause the unit to malfunction. All major adjustments should be done by a licensed ASC Sales & Service Center.
Other terms:
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which can vary state to state. ASC Incorporated does not authorize any
other person or entity to create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with the sunroof. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness
for a particular purpose applicable to the sunroof is limited in duration to that of the written warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long
an implied warranty will last so this limitation may not apply. The performance of repairs and needed adjustments is the exclusive remedy under the
written warranty or any implied warranty. ASC Incorporated shall not be liable for any economic loss or incidental or consequential damages resulting
from breach of the written warranty or any implied warranty. Such loss or damage includes, limitation, payment for the loss of the use of the vehicle
upon which the sunroof is installed, lodging bills, car rentals, other travel costs, and loss of pay. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so these exclusions may not apply. Non-transferable - this warranty is provided for the benefit of the original owner
only.
Warranty adjustments:
The ASC licensed sales & service center will, without charge, repair the defective part or replace it with a new or factory reconditioned part provided the
original retail purchaser who is then the owner of the vehicle upon which the sunroof is installed presents, at the time of his claim, proof of valid ASC
sunroof warranty. Unless the warranty and the vehicle are brought, during the warranty period, by the original owner directly to an authorized ASC
licensed sales & service center, this warranty cannot be honored. This warranty applies only to electric sliding sunroof products installed by ASC.
Warranty adjustments can only be made to vehicles with electric sliding sunroofs brought to an Authorized ASC Sales & Service Center. For additional
