Timing Cover: Service and Repair
Timing Belt Rear Cover Replace

Timing Belt Components

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Battery ground cable.
2. Timing front cover.
3. Timing belt, refer to Timing Belt / Service and Repair.
4. Camshaft and crankshaft sprockets. 
5. Timing belt tensioner assembly, refer to Timing Belt Tensioner / Service and Repair.
6. Timing belt rear cover bolts and cover.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Timing belt rear cover and bolts. Start all bolts, then tighten to 7 Nm (62 in lbs).
2. Timing belt tensioner assembly.
3. Camshaft and crankshaft sprockets.
4. Timing belt.
5. Timing front cover.
6. Battery ground cable.
