Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
With A/C

Generator, A/C Compressor Or Idler Pulley

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Serpentine drive belt.
3. Generator assembly.
4. Raise vehicle and support.
5. Right front tire and wheel assembly.
6. Right splash shield.
7. Rear compressor bracket.
8. Oil filter.
9. Front A/C compressor mounting bolts 'and position compressor aside.

10. Tensioner.
11. Chain housing to belt tensioner bracket brace.
12. Bracket to block retaining bolts.
13. Bracket out the wheel opening.

Install or Connect

1. Bracket and retaining bolts.
2. Chain housing to belt tensioner bracket brace.
3. Tensioner.
4. Front compressor mounting bolts.
5. Rear compressor bracket and bolts.
6. Oil filter.
7. Right splash shield.
8. Right front tire and wheel assembly.
9. Lower vehicle.

10. Generator assembly.
11. Serpentine drive belt.
12. Negative battery cable.
