SERVICE INFORMATION:
Section 6A7 in the 1992-93 service manuals incorrectly states the front cover gaskets (Figure 1) must be replaced when removed.
The 1992-1994 2.3L front cover gaskets are reusable. These gaskets should be replaced only if they are damaged.
The original production 1987-1991 front cover gaskets are not reusable.
