Blower Motor: Service and Repair
Blower Assembly
Blower Case Insulator "Cut" Diagram
The blower motor and fan are serviced as an assembly only.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Electrical connections from blower motor.
3. Position engine wiring harness aside.
4. Partially cut blower case cover as indicated on cover.
Important

Cutting completely around cover is NOT required.

Cover thickness is approx 2 mm (1/8 in.). Make cut just through thickness of cover. Excessive depth of cut may damage cooling tube.
5. Swing cut out portion of cover down.
6. Blower motor cooling tube.
7. Blower motor retaining screws and blower motor.
Install or Connect
