Heater Hose: Service and Repair
Quick Connect Retainer
The quick connect retainer can be removed from the heater pipe and replaced if necessary. It is recommended that the retainer he replaced whenever the
quick-connect is disconnected. If the retainer is to be reused, the use of J 42202 is recommended.
Tool Required:
J 43302 Quick Connect Remover
1. Clamp J 42202 around the heater pipe.
2. Slide J 42202 around the heater pipe.
3. Apply pressure towards the quick connect retainer until the ramps release from the pipe.
4. Remove the quick connect retainer from the pipe.
