Wheel Fastener: Service and Repair

J 6627-A Wheel Stud Remover
-
J 28733-Front Hub Spindle Remover
-
Or Equivalents
REMOVAL
Remove or disconnect the following:
1. Hub and bearing assembly.
2. Wheel stud from hub and bearing assembly using tool J 6627-A. Discard stud.
INSTALLATION
Install or connect the following:
1. New wheel stud into hub and bearing assembly.
2. Flat washers and stud (flat side down) onto wheel stud, and tighten until wheel stud is fully seated.
3. Hub and bearing assembly.
4. Check front wheel alignment.
