Grand AM V6-3.4L VIN E (2001)
1. Remove the protective tape from the adhesive strips on the back side of the front door energy absorber pad.
2. Install the energy absorber pad (1) to the front door. Press firmly on the energy absorber to secure it to the front door panel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the front door energy absorber strap bolt (2).
Tighten the energy absorber strap bolt (2) to 7 N.m (61 lb in).
4. Install the front door window regulator.

Removal Procedure
1. With a flat-bladed tool to disengage the reflector tabs (at the front and rear) from the door trim panel.
2. Remove the warning reflector.
Installation Procedure
1. Align the tabs on the warning reflector with the slots in the trim panel.
2. Install the warning reflector, pressing into place until fully seated.
