7. Install the pressure regulator to the fuel rail.
Tighten
Tighten the fuel return pipe fitting to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
8. Connect the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line.
9. Install the pressure regulator attaching screw.
Tighten
Tighten the pressure regulator attaching screw to 8.5 N.m (75 lb in).
10. Inspect and verify that the retainer and spacer bracket is engaged in the slots in the fuel rail. Grasp and pull on the regulator to ensure that the
regulator is properly seated.
11. Connect the negative battery cable.
12. Inspect the fuel system for leaks.
12.1. Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds.
12.2. Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
12.3. Turn ON the ignition.
12.4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
