6. Tighten the fuel filler hose clamp at the fuel tank.
7. Tighten the fuel filler hose clamp at the fuel filler pipe.
8. Inspect and make sure filler hose is fully seated on fuel tank port and fuel filler pipe.
9. Make sure the clamp is properly located on the tank port between the bead and tank.
Tighten
Tighten the fuel tank filler hose clamps to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Tighten the fuel filler cap.
12. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
13. Inspect for fuel leaks using the following procedure:
13.1. Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds.
13.2. Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
13.3. Turn ON the ignition.
13.4. Inspect for leaks.
