Shift Indicator: Service and Repair

TRANS FLOOR SHIFT CONTROL INDICATOR LAMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (Pontiac) or Trim Plate Replacement - Front

2. Remove the floor shift control indicator lamp socket turning counterclockwise to release from the trim bezel.
3. Remove the bulb from the socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the bulb to the socket.
2. Install the floor shift control indicator lamp socket to the trim bezel, then rotate the socket clockwise to secure.
3. Install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (Pontiac) or Trim Plate Replacement - Front
