Temperature Control Cable Repair
Temperature Control Cable Adjustment
When servicing a temperature control cable assembly at the heater module end or for failure of the cable to "snap in" to the heater control, the following
repair procedure must be used:
1. Remove the effected cable end. (Refer to "Temperature Control Cable Removal")
2. Rotate cable "snap in" 90°.
3. Secure to heater control or vacuum actuator bracket with a hex headed, self tapping screw.
4. Reinstall cable.
NOTE: If the retaining "fingers" for the temperature control cable on the module arm are broken, break off remaining "fingers" and install a
push-on clip.
