Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

1.

Remove steering column trim cover as follows:
a. Disconnect ALDL connector from trim cover.
b. Remove attaching screws from bottom of trim cover.
c. Remove cover by carefully pulling rearward to disengage from three retaining clips on top of cover.

2.

Remove bolts from left side of accessory trim plate.

3.

Open glove compartment door, remove bolts from right side of accessory trim plate, then the trim plate.

4.

Remove bolts attaching top of radio and nuts attaching bottom of radio.

5.

Pull radio out and disconnect electrical and antenna connectors, then remove radio.

6.

Reverse procedure to install.
