CONDITION:

New replacement parts for lug wrench socket and jack handle.

CORRECTION:

Replace the old lug wrench socket and ratchet handle with new parts. The new part is mounted under the spare tire cover and will require a modification
to the tire cover as well as a new label for the cover.

Parts Required:

Kit # 12506758 Contains the following parts:

1 - 10158395 Handle Assembly  1 - 10165650 Bolt/screw, Jack Handle

1 - 10165652 Nut, Jack Handle 1 - 10165653 Label, Jack Usage

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

PROCEDURE:

1.

Open rear compartment lid, remove floor covering and the large retaining plate for the spare tire cover.

2.

Determine the approximate centerline of large hole on the spare tire cover, draw a line parallel to centerline of vehicle from the hole to the forward
edge of the spare tire cover.

3.

Mark a location on the centerline 150.0 mm (5-7/8") forward of the large retainer plate hole in the spare tire cover (See Illustration).
