Identifiers for the 3rd clutch (fiber) plate assemblies for all 1986 through 1991 HYDRA-MATIC 4T60 or 4T60-E transaxles. The 3rd clutch plate
assemblies discussed in Pontiac Service Bulletin 86-7-39 issued 10/89 and Pontiac Service Bulletin 89-7-37 issued 6/89. have many different identifier
markings. To avoid confusion, it is recommended to order all overhaul and 3rd clutch plate assembly packages by the model and year of the transaxle.
