Grand Prix V6-191 3.1L VIN M SFI (1998)
2. Install the exhaust crossover pipe bolts.

Tighten the exhaust crossover pipe bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the exhaust crossover heat shield.
4. Install the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield bolts.

Tighten the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
5. Install the vacuum modulator pipe. Refer to Vacuum Modulator Pipe Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T60-E.
6. Install the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement in Powertrain Management.
7. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Starting and Charging.
